King's Daughters welcomes nurse practitioner to Cedar Knoll Pediatrics

King’s Daughters welcomes family nurse practitioner Kimberly Newsome Stapleton to Cedar Knoll Pediatrics, joining pediatrician Muhammad Idrees, M.D., and nurse practitioners Kelly McArthur and Laura Wells.

Stapleton earned her master of science in nursing degree from Marshall University, Huntington, W.Va. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

A family nurse practitioner serves as a primary and specialty healthcare provider. Family nurse practitioners work with patients throughout their lives, diagnosing illness, conducting exams and prescribing medication.

Cedar Knoll Pediatrics is open from 8 a.m. to 6: 30 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located at 10650 U.S. Route 60, Ashland. New patients are welcome. Services include:

  • Primary care services for children from birth through age 18
  • Management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Well-child, sports and school physicals
  • Immunizations
  • Same day/next day appointments available for established patients with urgent conditions
