They are Barbara Thomas, president; Robert Forte, vice president; Connie Hancock, general treasurer; Charlene Qualls, Auxiliary Gift Shop treasurer; Sandy Thornbury, corresponding secretary; and Anna Cooper, recording secretary.

“Our Auxiliary officers and others who sit on the board are active volunteers,” said Anne Sloan, Volunteer Services director. “They also are great ambassadors for King’s Daughters and tremendous advocates for our patients and families.”

“KDMC’s Auxiliary volunteers truly have the biggest hearts,” said Jamie Martinez, Home Medical Equipment. “They make it possible for so many of our customers to
maintain their independence safely and to obtain medically necessary items their insurance will not cover.”

King’s Daughters Auxiliary raises money all year through the Auxiliary Gift Shop sales as well as book, jewelry and special sales events at King’s Daughters.

“The Auxiliary has been an invaluable part of the medical center for 60 years,” said Sloan. “More than 150 volunteer on a weekly basis, and the Auxiliary is one of the largest contributors to the Hospitality House. We truly appreciate their dedication to the medical center and our community.”
