With a report of a patient with Hepatitis A working at a local restaurant, we’ve experienced a large surge in calls from patients and parents, asking about the vaccine.

We do have some of the vaccine, and it’s available through a family physician. To schedule an appointment, call our Care 24/7 line at (606) 408-8999 or toll-free 1-844-324-2200.

Our Family Pharmacy on our Ashland campus can give the vaccine as well, with a physician’s order. The Family Pharmacy is open Monday - Friday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can contact the pharmacy at (606) 324-0092.

The Ashland-Boyd County Health Department does have vaccine available for those without insurance or who may be underinsured. There is a cost for this vaccine. You can reach the health department at (606) 324-7181.

Our Walk-In Care for Schools program has been scheduled to provide vaccines for member school systems throughout March. If a parent believes their child was exposed and would like to get the vaccination quickly, they can download a consent form at our website, kingsdaughtershealth.com, send it to the child’s school and call us.

Questions about our school program can go these numbers:

  • Ashland Independent Schools, (606) 408-8921
  • Boyd County Schools, (606) 408-8920
  • Carter County Schools, (606) 475-5500
  • Fairview Independent Schools, (606) 408-8922
  • Rose Hill Christian School, (606) 408-8923

Please keep in mind this vaccine is a two-part injection.
