King's Daughters Medical Center, a 465-bed regional referral center in
Ashland, Ky., is seeking a board eligible/certified adult psychiatrist
to provide inpatient care in our Behavioral Medicine unit.
The incoming physician will earn competitive compensation (salary guaratnees
plus wRVU productivity) and excellent benefits (health, vision, dental,
life, retirement), along with vacation and CME.
The practitioner will provide care and evaluations for psychiatric unit
patients and in-house consults, as well as coordinate medication management.
KDMC’s 27-bed Behavioral Medicine unit specializes in stabilization
of acute episodes. Patients attend daily individual and/or group therapy
sessions. We work with patients and their loved ones, along with other
healthcare professionals to develop an appropriate course of treatment.
Our goal is to enable patients to return home and resume their lives as
quickly as possible. Discharge planners and case managers help coordinate
care following hospitalization.
