Low Cost Blood Profile

King's Daughters is pleased to be your partner in helping you achieve better health by offering low-cost blood testing for $25. A provider order is not needed. King's Daughters Low-Cost Blood Profile includes:

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel

  • Glucose, a type of sugar and your body's main source of energy.
  • Calcium, one of the body's most important minerals. Calcium is essential for proper functioning of your nerves, muscles, and heart.
  • Sodium, potassium, carbon dioxide, and chloride. These are electrolytes, electrically charged minerals that help control the amount of fluids and the balance of acids and bases in your body.
  • Albumin, a protein made in the liver.
  • Total protein, which measures the total amount of protein in the blood.
  • ALP (alkaline phosphatase), ALT (alanine transaminase), and AST (aspartate aminotransferase). These are different enzymes made by the liver.
  • Bilirubin, a waste product made by the liver.
  • BUN (blood urea nitrogen) and creatinine, waste products removed from your blood by your kidneys.

Complete Blood Count

  • The number of white blood cells (WBC count)
  • The number of red blood cells (RBC count)
  • The CBC test also provides information about the following measurements:
  • Mean red blood cell volume (MCV)
  • Mean hemoglobin amount per red blood cell (MCH)
  • The mean amount of hemoglobin relative to the size of the cell (hemoglobin concentration) per red blood cell (MCHC)
  • The number of platelets
  • The total amount of hemoglobin in the blood
  • The fraction of the blood composed of red blood cells (hematocrit)

Lipid Panel

  • Total cholesterol
  • High-density lipoprotein (HDL)
  • Low-density lipoprotein (LDL)
  • Very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL)
  • Triglycerides

Thyroid stimulating hormone

A1C testing for blood glucose - (additional $5 charge)

Screening Schedule

Our Low-Cost Blood Profile screening is available at many King's Daughters locations throughout the year. Appointments are not needed. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted. We're sorry, but testing cannot be billed to insurance. However, the Low-Cost Blood Profile screening is eligible for Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
