King’s Daughters welcomes orthopaedics/sports medicine physician Michael Chambers, M.D., to its medical staff. Chambers joins Andrew Gilliland, M.D., at King’s Daughters Medical Specialties — Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, 613 23^rd St., Suite G30, Ashland.

Chambers earned his medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City. He completed orthopaedics residency at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Huntington, W.Va., and his sports medicine fellowship at Hughston Foundation Sports Medicine Program, Columbus, Ga.

He is team physician for Marshall University and Kentucky Christian University. Chambers also is an assistant professor of medicine at Marshall University.
