Electrophysiologist joins staff at King's Daughters

King's Daughters is pleased to welcome electrophysiologist and cardiologist Kristin Ellison, M.D., to its medical staff.

Dr. Ellison earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass., and completed her internal medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. Her cardiovascular medicine fellowship was completed at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, Calif. Ellison completed her electrophysiology fellowships at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass.; and Rush University School of Medicine in Chicago.

She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certifications in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology.

Dr. Ellison sees patients at KDMS Cardiology locations 2483 Highway 644, Suite 103 in Louisa; and 1279 Old Abbott Mountain Road in Prestonsburg.

Electrophysiologists diagnose and treat cardiac rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation.
