Nurse practitioner joins team at Catlettsburg Family Care Center

King’s Daughters is pleased to welcome nurse practitioner Ryan Faulkner, APRN, to its Family Care Center, 4004 Louisa Road, Catlettsburg.

Faulkner earned his master of science in nursing from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. His bachelor of science in nursing was completed at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson; and his associate’s degree in nursing was completed at Ashland Community and Technical College.

Faulkner joins family physician Anna Patton, M.D., physician assistant Jason Mullins, PA-C, and nurse practitioner Wanda Poplin, APRN, in providing primary care services, including well-child checkups, treatment for acute and chronic conditions, physicals, and wellness visits. Previously, Faulkner worked as a registered nurse in King’s Daughters emergency department as on its neuroscience care unit. Most recently, he was a clinical educator, leading subcommittees of the Nursing Practice Council to address specific healthcare challenges.
