King’s Daughters providing free flu shots throughout community

This year, more than ever, protecting ourselves from the flu is vital. King’s Daughters Community Relations team will be providing free flu shots to area residents throughout the month of October as follows:

• 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2 at Applegate Food Fair, 1625 Ashland Road, Greenup
• 3 to 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2 at Ashland Town Center Mall, next to food court, 500 Winchester Ave.
• 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9 at the Grayson Post Office, onboard the KDMC Mobile Health Unit, 390 Carol Malone Blvd.

Immunizations will be available to those age 18 and older. Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced. All recipients will have their temperatures checked before entry and will be asked a series of screening questions.
