Have you recently recovered from a stroke? Are you caring for a loved one who had a stroke? Whether you’re a survivor, a family member or a caregiver, let us answer your questions and offer a friendly place of support. Join UK King’s Daughters Neurology for a free Stroke Support Group at 5 p.m., the first Tuesday of every month in the 5th floor conference room at King’s Daughters Health Park, 1000 Ashland Drive, Russell.
The group focuses on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual impacts of stroke. Topics include how to recognize a stroke, lifestyle changes for survivors, and resources for caregivers.
Meetings include time for questions as well as sharing personal stories and insights. There are refreshments, games and door prizes each month.
