As of Monday, Feb. 2, both the Heart Failure andLipid clinics at King’s Daughters Medical Center will be relocating to Suite G20 of Medical Plaza B, 613 23rd St., Ashland. This is on the lower level of the current building. As part of this move, the Heart Failure / Lipid clinics will have a new phone number: (606) 408-0842. The Coumadin Clinic, Suite 230 of Medical Plaza B, is not moving.

The King’s Daughters Heart Failure Clinic can assist patients with the transition from hospital to home, and beyond. We can help manage illness, reduce symptoms and reduce future hospitalizations. The clinic works in conjunction with cardiologists and/or primary care physicians.

Services provided

  • 24/7 phone access for established patients
  • Education
  • Outpatient IV diuretics
  • Blood work
  • Medication adjustments
  • Referrals for needed services

We are also excited to welcome a new nurse practitioner to our team: Suzanne Gilmore. Suzanne has worked with King’s Daughters and the cardiology group for many years and is extremely knowledgeable in caring for patients with heart disease. We are excited to welcome her to the team, which includes nurse practitioners Donna Holbrook, Evie Hill and Lauren Arthur and nurse Barb Davis.

Patients do not need a physician referral to use the clinic. If you’d like to use our services call (606) 408-0842 or toll free 1-800-791-9539. Patients are seen by appointment from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
