King's Daughters, Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital lift flu visitation restrictions

Due to downgrading levels of flu activity, King’s Daughters Medical Center and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital are lifting visitor restrictions that were implemented in late January. The restrictions were enacted to prevent the spread of the flu.
“This community-wide recommendation helped protect our patients, visitors and staff from exposure to flu,” said Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital CEO Kevin Halter.
“Patient safety is our number one concern,” said King’s Daughters President/CEO Kristie Whitlatch.
Visitors are encouraged to wash their hands frequently while in the hospital to reduce the spread of infection.
