Keeping It Local with Rocky Adkins Golf Tournament

group photoWe are gearing up for the 23rd annual Rocky Adkins Cure for Cancer golf scramble to be held Friday, May 25 at Eagle Trace in Morehead. More than 300 golfers from across Kentucky, representing more than 60 sponsors, will participate in the tournament, with proceeds benefiting King’s Daughters Oncology Center of Excellence. Over the years, the tournament has raised more than $1.5 million to benefit education, prevention and treatment programs. The success of this tournament can be largely attributed to the help and support of our local businesses and vendors who help us put on the tournament. It’s very humbling to look at this list and know these supporters; many have given year after year for this worthwhile cause. Today, we would like to thank those involved for their continued support.

  • State Rep. Rocky Adkins for his dedication to the cause!
  • Texas Roadhouse-travels to Morehead every year to grill steaks and hot dogs onsite for golfers and volunteers;
  • Cintas- golf towels and polo shirts for volunteers;
  • Tim Horton’s- coffee and donuts
  • Eagle Distributing-drinks
  • Speedy Signs- provides “speedy” signage for our all of our sponsors
  • King’s Daughters Food Service and Gordon Foods- assist in securing snack donations
  • Printing Express- assists in printing and mailing invitations
  • Eagle Trace Golf Course and Head Golf Professional Justin Brown- does a great job preparing the course and organizing golfers the day of the event
  • Pepsi for drink donations
  • Infusion Solutions for door prizes and golf tees for goody bags
  • Calloway golf for donating golf clubs

We value our local businesses and want to thank each and every one of them for their partnership and contribution. At King’s Daughters we value our local business and encourage our team and community to “Keep It Local.”
