Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care

King’s Daughters – Ohio features an 11-bed hybrid Emergency Department / Urgent Care Center. We average nearly 30,000 visits annually, and we specialize in providing high-acuity urgent care integrated with emergency medicine services. Our physicians cover 8 am to 8 pm, and 8 pm to 8 am, and a nurse practitioner joins the patient care team from 11 am to 11 pm.
Located in historic Portsmouth, Ohio, King’s Daughters – Ohio (KDOH) provides quality primary, preventive, urgent and emergency care, along with general and orthopedic surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, urology and ENT. The Tri-State area has some of the country’s finest state parks that feature golf, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting and biking. The area has four seasons – all of which are relatively mild. Ashland, KY is a short drive to metro cities in Ohio (Cincinnati and Columbus) and Kentucky (Lexington and Louisville). King’s Daughters Medical Center, a 465-bed regional healthcare system serving Kentucky and Ohio, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a board eligible/certified urologist.
The Incoming physician will earn generous salary guarantees, productivity bonuses and quality/customer incentives (income potential $500k to $750k+). We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, and a flexible work schedule that includes seven weeks off and manageable call.
Our collegial practice features five urologists, supported by a team of experienced advanced providers. King’s Daughters serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our urologists enjoy a vibrant practice.

- King’s Daughters features dedicated urology-specific surgery teams, quick room turnarounds, and da Vinci robotics. Our newest procedures include Aquablation and Urolift for BPH, and Bulkamid for urinary stress incontinence.
