Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows the physician or surgeon to accurately diagnose - and often treat - conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach and colon. These procedures are performed in the Endoscopy Suites. King's Daughters provides endoscopy services in both Ashland and Portsmouth. Services are provided weekdays in both locations; Saturday hours are available in Ashland.
Colorectal Surgery
King's Daughters colorectal surgeon Gabie Ong, M.D., treats conditions and diseases of the small intestine, colon, rectum and anus including colon and rectal cancer, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, inflammatory bowel disease and chronic constipation. She is trained in robotic-assisted surgery, allowing for less-invasive procedures, quicker recovery times and better overall results.
