King's Daughters Wellness Recovery program provides evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders in a non-judgmental, caring environment. We are dedicated to helping patients with their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
The program provides services across the continuum of care, from the Emergency Department, to inpatient services, to the outpatient setting, and is funded by a Kentucky Opioid Response Effort (KORE) Grant.
Available services
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) – Vivitrol, Suboxone, and Sublocade.
- Counseling – Groups and individuals
- Peer Support – Groups and individuals
- Case Management – Assistance with transportation and community resources
- Educational Resources - Narcan, needle exchange program, medications for opioid use disorder
- Referrals to needed services
Admission criteria
The patient should WANT or be seeking OUTPATIENT recovery services. We provide services for patients with:
- Opioid Use Disorder or Abuse
- Methamphetamine Use Disorder or Abuse
- Alcohol Use Disorder or Alcohol Abuse – Patient would need inpatient medical withdrawal management prior to initiation of outpatient treatment. Laboratory testing is required to determine liver enzymes for patients desiring treatment with Vivitrol or Naltrexone.
- Patients must be opioid free for at least 12 hours (moderate withdrawal) before Outpatient Clinic appointment.
